Our Story

We met in September of 1995 when Tamara joined the marketing department of Kyocera Electronics.  After months of working together, we started dating in the summer of 1996.  It took many break ups and reunions for Glenn to finally figure out that Tamara was the love of his life (ok, now you can tell who is writing this).

Our Engagement
We got back together, forever, in June of 1998 and by February 1999, Glenn was ready to propose.  Searching for just the right way to surprise her, Glenn decided to propose on February 13, 1999, just after returning from the Harlem Globetrotters game.  He enlisted the help of his sisters, Amy and Beth, to decorate the apartment with roses and candles to create just the right atmosphere.

To create more stress for Glenn, not only did the game run late, but the subways were delayed, so he was sure the apartment would burn down before we arrived home.  To top it off, Tamara, after having been told months earlier he was shopping for a ring, is annoyed that Glenn hasn't yet proposed.  So she is shocked when she opens the door to a perfect scene of candles and a trail of rose petals.  Both of us were ready to cry by the time Glenn got on his knee to ask Tamara to make him the happiest man alive by marrying him.

After a joyous yes, they quickly got on the phone to call friends and family, only for Tamara to learn that another surprise was in store.  Glenn had let people know in advance and invited family and friends over to celebrate together that evening.  Topping off the evening with a late dinner at Michael Jordan's, Glenn and Tamara were both on cloud nine.

The wedding planning soon began and the date was set for May 21, 2000 at Bridgewaters in the South Street Seaport.  After the wedding of their dreams and a honeymoon in paradise, Glenn and Tamara began their journey together as man and wife.

That journey has been filled with ups and downs and twists and turns, as life usually is, and they are now living in Cumberland, RI...happily ever after.
