Puerto Rico - January 2003

In January of 2003, we joined the rest of the Gruber family for our nearly-annual trip to Puerto Rico.  This time, revisiting the past by staying at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan. 

After nearly having to cancel the trip because of problems with our heat, we took a later flight and arrived in San Juan on Saturday evening.  We spent the next six days soaking up the sun and enjoying the local cuisine. One benefit to staying in San Juan is the variety and quality of restaurants in town. 

Most importantly, this was a time to reconnect with family.  We were able to get to know our future brother-in-law, Steven, and spend time with Beth, Gary, and Jake, who are now living in Florida.
