London - February 2002

2002 brought more changes again, with Glenn's company closing the US office, Tamara newly employed at Scan Mobile, and an offer accepted on our apartment.  When business brought Tamara to London, this time it was Glenn's turn to use some miles, tag along, and enjoy the sights. 

We arrived in London on Saturday and set out determined to overcome jet lag and see the sights.  After lunch at a local pub, we wandered around town and took in the Churchill War Room exhibits. 

The next day, we hit more London highlights with the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and London Bridge.  That evening, we met a friend at a pub and had dinner together. 

On Monday, it was back to work for Tamara while Glenn took in exhibits at a few museums.  We were still able to have dinner together, or with the rest of the group from Scan, and returned home on Thursday.  Tamara was able to return to London in May but that time, didn't have a chance to see any more of the sights.  We hope to spend more time in the UK in the future.
