Belly Shots

Didn't get to watch Tamara's changing belly?  Track her progress here and watch how the baby grew!

Tamara first learned she was pregnant while Glenn was traveling.  Because she had a lot of spotting in the beginning, we were worried that the baby wouldn't make it and didn't want to tell anyone until after we had a couple of ultrasounds.  Turns out, she was just a strong little girl who dug in deep, determined to stick around.  We had our first ultrasound at 7.5 weeks and we both cried tears of joy watching her little heart beating for the first time.  Here is Tamara at 6 weeks, then again at 9 weeks.  She liked to think you could see something already but that was just dinner.  If the belly looks smaller at 9 weeks it is because she was throwing up all the time.

By twelve weeks, Tamara was hoping that the pregnancy sickness would soon be over.  Little did she know that she still had another two months to go.  Around 16 weeks she started wearing her "fat" clothes.  Here she is at nearly 13 weeks and again at nearly 19 weeks, the day we found out we were having a girl!

At 20 weeks, Tamara started to feel better and began putting on weight.  With the baby and her growing, she quickly moved into maternity gear.  Here she is at 21 weeks, on her first day in maternity clothes, when we first went nursery furniture shopping.  The next shot is at 24 weeks, when we went to visit our Havurah group in Long Island.  That belly is starting to show!

Around 28 weeks (gray sweater below), we went to the Norwich Inn & Spa for the weekend for a little prenatal pampering (for mom & dad!).  At 31 weeks (black shirt below), Tamara was proudly pregnant and feeling great.  Little did she know that in a week or two she was going to start getting sick every day again from severe reflux! What she would have eaten then had she known!

By 36 weeks (below), we were populating the house with baby gear in eager anticipation!  At 38 weeks, we caught a glimpse of spring and Tamara dared to put on maternity shorts.  Good thing she didn't buy more than one pair though because it has been chilly ever since!

By 39 weeks, we are ready to go.  D-Day and counting (below right)...any day now!!
